Is it possible to access to data of HEATit device ? (smoke detector)

Hello !

I check on the DEVICES LIST ( Integrations - Home Assistant ) and I don’t find the HEATit brand.

Where I live, I need to connect fire detector to the 230v (new law in the country).

So I found this model : https://www.heatit.com/z-wave/heatit-z-smoke-ac/ (smoke detection, heat detection, motion detection, emergency light, etc).
Is seems to be a very nice device.

But, is it possible to use it with Home Assistant ?
To see datas (alarm, temperature, detected motion) or use feature (use the motion detector to activate an notification, activate the light on scenarios, etc).

“I can’t answer that seeing as we don’t test our products on OpenZWAVE gateways.”

Hi. I have 12 of these installed so yes it’s possible with the new Zwave-JS.

By lack of time, I didn’t yet migrate to the new zWave.

Can you acces to all features ? (smoke alerte, heat alert, motion sensor, use the light, etc) ?

It’s not an integration but rather supported via Zwave-JS. You can view supported devices here https://devices.zwave-js.io/

Below you can see the entities exposed by default. One thing I have noticed is that the temperature is a constant 3-4 degrees above what is measured by thermostats in the room.

I use the motion detection to turn on/off lights

do you use the model with battery or AC ?
If battery, is it lasting ore than 1 year?
