Is it possible to connect to Google Assistant to control BW-SHP6?

Hi. I bought BlitzWolf BW-SHP6 Wi-Fi socket (because it was on promo). Unfortunately, it isn’t supported by Home Assistant and I don’t want to flash a custom firmware ( https://github.com/arendst/Sonoff-Tasmota/wiki/BlitzWolf-SHP6 ), because I would damage it or in best case only damage myself.

This device connected correctly to Google Assistant, so I thought adding Google Assistant devices to Home Assistant would be a good idea.
I’ve read: https://www.home-assistant.io/components/google_assistant/
But I’m not sure it’s what I need. I don’t need to control devices connected to Home Assistant by Google Assistant. I only want to send some remote command to Google Assistant to power on/off device(s). My ISP (mobile Internet) also blocks all incoming ports, so I would additionally need to setup a VPN for remote access, which would complicate things even more.

Is there any solution to get it working?

Hello Moan,
welcome to the forum. I’m not a pro, but I’ve read your question. I suspect that your outlet can also be controlled with the “Tuya app” from the smartphone. If so, you can integrate it directly into Home Assistant.
Look here :

If not, check out Node-RED and the “Nora” plugin. There are certainly other ways and as mentioned above I’m not a professional, but maybe I could help you. greetings

This is awesome! Thank you so much.
Seems like this Tuya app looks identical to “BlitzWolf” app on Play Store.
This is exactly what I needed. The integration process was pretty easy.

Please, and have fun with Home Assistant…:+1:
