After setting up Google Calendar, I see that for each event only the following attributes are set: start, end, summary, description, location.
Google Calendar has more information (notably the color set for an event, which I make use of). Is it possible to request more attributes from the Google APi server?
This is interesting… I extensively use Google Calendar in HA, but so far only with All Day Events.
Do I understand that you use GC with individual events that are not All Day ?
Yes, I have access to a few calendars from my account (the calendars of the family members) and I am concatenating them for “today” and “tomorrow”. They are individual entries, usually 1 hour long (a default)
I do not know, how to get the color of an event specified in GC itself to be shown in HA.
But I do know, how do display all the accessible calendars with each one it’s specified color on your dashboard. It may help you at least to see on the color, who’s appointment you are looking at.
I use this to display 7 calendars and we are happy with that
