Is it possible to receive calls on a ESP32 SIM800L?

Hello,

I using an ESP32 to open a garage door but I would like to open my garage via a phone call.
Is are a possibility the log phone calls sow I can make a automation of it?

Alternatively: hook up an old modem to HA, use “Phone modem” integration and trigger the ESP32 from HA to open the garage door.
