Is it possible to use a Coral TPU M.2/USB device to improvements Whisper speech-to-text recognition?

Hi,

Is it in general possible to use a “consumer-grade” Coral TPU like this one for example: M.2 Accelerator with Dual Edge TPU | Coral to improve telhe speech-to-text recognition of the voice assistant?

Apperently, they are quite affordable, and if there is a chance to improve the speech recognition with whisper I’d take it.

any news on this ? I just received mine last week. Apart from Frigate, there is no other use I know of. Would be great to also be able to use it for voice to text local recognition.
