Is logging in to HASS using OAUTH possible?

Hello,

I have a Synology NAS at home and I’m wondering if it is possible to use the SSO feature on that to login to Home Assistant.

That way, I can have a unified account for my family but at the same time of that goes down, they cann fall back to regular ol’ HASS username and password.

Is that currently a thing? I’ve tried reading the documentations and forums but only managed to find OAUTH stuff relating to integrations :frowning:

Only if you use the Home Assistant Core installation method. From the authentication docs on the command line authentication option:

Please note, this will only work when using the Home Assistant Core installation type
