Is my thermostat Trane TZEMT400AB32MAA supported?

You find the answer to that and I may have to kiss you.

I am going to move the thermostat back to Vera because it just is not working as I had hoped in HA and there is not a great deal of info to go on.

When I try and change mine by a degree or two, it reverts it to 0 and doesn’t do anything. I have to go manually reset it at the thermostat.

I checked on chat and found that the slider needs to be changed to have a step of 1. I do not know how to address the built in slider for those devices. Do you know how to do this?

I am not sure I will be able to help with that, but I will keep looking and/or trying to see what I can come up with. The problem is I don’t have a high degree of confidence in the documentation. I have followed it to a T on more than one occasion only to post in the forums and find out its supposed to be different, so they examples they provide that you linked to I can’t really bank on.

I would ‘assume’ that the slider would have to target the specific entity that we are wanting to affect, such as:

climate.trane_model_tzemt400ab32maa_heating_1_34_1
climate.trane_model_tzemt400ab32maa_cooling_1_34_2

The only example of that in the link you provided is for use with MQTT, which I am not using. We may have to wait and see if there is someone that can give some additional direction in that area.
