Is there 220 wifi Light Switch works HA 20-30amp or do you need a Contractor or better option

so i have a 30amp 220 light switch on my 1 hot water tank…but id like to change over
to a wifi 220 30amp switch… do they make one

or do you guys use a 120 wifi light switch with
this 30amp contractor
Packard C230B 2 Pole 30 Amp Contactor, 120 Voltage Coil: Amazon.ca: Industrial & Scientific

rather get a light then i dont need to rewire anything just change the light switch
and one that works with HA without headaches

or what are some better options you guys come up with

Aeotec makes a 40 amp outdoor z-wave switch, it would not go on the wall, it would be an intercept point after the wall switch

that’s not really a light switch. Yes a contactor is a good idea here.

@nickrout

i currently use this 30 Amp Double Pole light switch
Legrand 30-Amp Double Pole White Toggle Light Switch | Lowe’s Canada

but wanted one that was WIFI a its been good for me so far just i wanted to make it automated too
but ill go the contractor way with a regualr smaller light switch

Yeah looks like a light switch, operates like a light switch, but who switches 7200 watts of lighting, particularly in the days of led lighting?

A warehouse with 50 fluorescent lamp housings?

Usually when you turn a light on in such a place you usually hear a loud click which is the contactor(s).

But we are getting OT. The point is that there is not much in the home automation field that switches more than 10A. And I wouldn’t use a lot of the chinese junk on the market to switch 10A anyway.

Safety first, get a contactor

well 30 amp switch i use because my hot water tank is 4500watt element
because canada past outragious prices for electricty and we sell USA our electricty for penniss

you need to shut your hot water tank off for a week before you need hot water again… so instead of using a Breaker i have this light switch beside the hot water tank to flip it on and off when i need hot water
but the light switch has worked for years people use this light switch for hot water tanks or Amplifiers
but i was hoping there was a Wifi one

but i probably go with shoving a wifi light switch in a plastic box and a contractor in the same box so u can toggle it on and off and then be able to flip it with HA… i was just hoping there was a double pole light switch for so i didnt have to build something bigger and just re use the same gang box…

but i appreciate all the input

I found this that may help https://thesmartcave.com/best-heavy-duty-smart-switch/

ok thanks ill check those out too.
