but wanted one that was WIFI a its been good for me so far just i wanted to make it automated too
but ill go the contractor way with a regualr smaller light switch
Usually when you turn a light on in such a place you usually hear a loud click which is the contactor(s).
But we are getting OT. The point is that there is not much in the home automation field that switches more than 10A. And I wouldn’t use a lot of the chinese junk on the market to switch 10A anyway.
well 30 amp switch i use because my hot water tank is 4500watt element
because canada past outragious prices for electricty and we sell USA our electricty for penniss
you need to shut your hot water tank off for a week before you need hot water again… so instead of using a Breaker i have this light switch beside the hot water tank to flip it on and off when i need hot water
but the light switch has worked for years people use this light switch for hot water tanks or Amplifiers
but i was hoping there was a Wifi one
but i probably go with shoving a wifi light switch in a plastic box and a contractor in the same box so u can toggle it on and off and then be able to flip it with HA… i was just hoping there was a double pole light switch for so i didnt have to build something bigger and just re use the same gang box…
