I don’t think this exists from my searches online but I would be interested to see how people handle motion lighting in their setups, particularly for anything UI based… I have motion sensors throughout the house, I then have an automation for each sensor that handles the lighting. Each automation has multiple “choose” actions based on time of day/lux levels - should the lights be bright/dim etc… This works okay but it is a bit of a pain having to open automations and manually set different times when my partner says “this is too bright, can we change the time/brightness!”.
What would be perfect would be something like the scheduler card that took a motion sensor as a trigger, then could set different lighting outcomes based on time of day/conditions. I could technically use the current scheduler-card as-is with the motion sensor as a condition but that doesn’t allow me to set different conditions based on time of day, just as an overall condition. It’s not quite flexible enough to replace an automation in this case, but I love how easy it makes setting up general schedules.
