Home Assistant is written in Python 3… If your computer has a Python 3 interpreter, it will be able to run Home Assistant.

I know it! I asked because BPI-R1 is an old hardware and I was wondering if they provide an image for this kind of hardware. Anyway, yesterday I found an image Debian 8 for BPI-R1 and upgraded to Debian 9 and then after several dependencies I had a fully working Home Assistant up and running.
