Is there a HA deivce to control RF devices?

Hi

I have two Monessen gas log fireplaces. Both have iFlame EchoFire RF remotes installed, which allow me to turn them off and on.

iFlame sells a hub that sucked and never worked correctly to control. It was pure BT garbage that cost $200, which I returned. I did not have HA a year ago at that time.

I need to be able to turn them on/off remotely via HA at minimum. Is there an RF device or an HA way to control devices that send RF signals, please?

Try searching for Sonoff RF bridge on this forum, and you will get plenty results :wink:

But in the end, it comes all down to frequency/protocol.

It all deprnds on the frequency and protocol used. My best bet would be to have a look for a rfxcom unit which integrates nicely in HA
