Is there a tutorial that makes sense?

I’ve found the documentation on setting up voice and wake words and such but none of it makes any sense. It says to go to menu options that just don’t exist:

I even made sure I’ve updated to the latest with version 2024.11.2

I don’t get why what I assume is the vm interface would be so different from the docker interface.

Which options?

Which are you using, Docker or VM?

I’m using Docker.

All the instructions I’m finding tell me to go to “Settings - > Add-Ons” … which doesn’t exist on my install.

Then I think you need to install these containers:

Home Assistant Container is listed as an advanced installation method. You are expected to be able to manage your own OS and containers. Once you have the containers set up everything else should be the same.
