I’d like to be able to see the details of what’s being casted to my Vizio smartcast TV. If I play/cast something using Plex, it will show up, but I use more than Plex to watch media.
My goal is to create an automation that turns the TV off after 10 minutes of it being idle. Unfortunately, after we finish casting something, it stays on the “Cast” input and it doesn’t show as idle. Does anyone have a way to see inside the cast and determine if something is actually being played?
Details: Vizio smartcast TV and Vizio HA integration. I cast from Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, Youtube, and Plex.
