Hello! I Have hass.io on nuc and would like to have a cloud server. But my own, so I do not have to think about limits from google. And it fells better to keep your data at your PC.
Is there an add on which can help with it?

Hi @Argo,
What do you mean by a Cloud server, without limits and would you be aware on how to connect your on premise network with a Cloud provider?
I mean a storage where I can keep my photos and videos. Like icloud or google drive or dropbox
There are storage limits everywhere and I have to pay for getting more space.
Beware that free big storage plans can screw you up. Free service is not always the best. They need to pay for the servers as well… So from one to other day POEW service can be gone forever… all stuff gone.
2TB Storage for 12,10 euro. inc vat.
Dutch law, so safe. Im using this serivice for years now.
You can config it as webdav (im doing it for backup my HA)
You can install apps same like dropbox and google drive
hi,
I’ve repackaged the Duplicati from linuxserver.io if you add https://github.com/jhhbe/hassio-addons then you can install the addon. I don’t recall which architectures are supported but RPI3B for sure as that is where I have it running (upd: sorry - source image is lsiobase/mono:arm32v7-LTS, but there should be a intel version also: x86-64. As I couldn’t figure out how to pull the right version I only catered for RPI.).
As local cloud storage I use Minio
ps: apologies for responding to the wrong post
Jhh
Hi Poudenes,
I’m a Stack user since the beginning and would like to use is as a backup location.
Could you maybe tell a bit more about how you config it as webdav in Home Assistant?
Kind regards,
Ivo
I don’t know anymore. I’m backup now everything to my local NAS.
