Google Home/Alexa have integrations with our Kitchenaid range that has wifi. It’s nice to be able to preheat the oven before you get home and things like that. I’ve searched high and low for an HA integration, but maybe i’m not looking in the right places. Has anyone seen anything or maybe a round about way to get control?

Hey, thanks @seasideCT and @MizterB! Just to confirm, the HA Core Whirlpool integration appears to work with some Whirlpool and Maytag appliances, but none of the listed devices are ovens. So, this custom integration adds functionality for ovens, including Kitchenaid ovens(?)
If you look at the source github for the integration, they support a number of devices, including ovens and KitchenAid. The official integration supports no ovens and appears not to support KitchenAid devices.
I can’t speak for other options, but, MizterB’s fork includes KitchenAid ovens (read only) which I own, works awesome and nearly real-time. Great job.
Thanks for the kind words. There has been a lot of good work on the official integration in the past few releases. I am working with the maintainer to include ovens in an upcoming HA release.
