Is this ok?

Hey all - trying to troubleshoot some issues with my zwave network. I recently added the python graph tool and it cam back with this:

Does this look right? I ask because I am seeing little meshing going on (just one battery device) and I keep losing devices on the network after a few days. I see some devices with pretty high RTT that have plenty of other devices to mesh through but it wants to go direct…

I have done plenty of heals etc but nothing seems to change the mesh. Be interested in people thoughts.

Thanks.

What tool is this?

That’s fine - it says that your controller can be reached by almost everything, which is ideal.

You’ll also find that the meshing tool simplifies the mesh significantly. There are many other links it doesn’t show, between those yellow nodes.

Thanks Tinkerer. Do you have any tips on what else I can be checking as to why I keep losing connectivity to devices on my network and require a power cycle at the breakers every few days?

You’ve either got interference, or other connectivity issues. Meshing the graph might help with identifying the second.

Ok great thanks. How do I ‘mesh the graph’? Is that an option of the python graph?

Just one thing to add, one of these devices has now stopped working - node 54. However, when I do a heal on the network, the node seems to be responding just fine and quickly:

If it was connectivity issues, would I see it here? As mentioned before, everything works perfectly (like really fast) for a day or so after powecycling through the breakers, so it’s weird that it degrades over time or is that just how zwave works? Looking at the logs, I do not see much traffic at all, so it doesn’t seem to be getting congested. Or am I just not seeing all the logs and I need to up the level of logging?

Any advice truly appreciated.

Thanks.
