ISP Switch - Can't Remote Connect with DuckDNS and NGINX

Today I changed ISPs. I wanted to run their modem/router in bridge mode and use my current router to run everything. Unfortunately, when the modem/router is put in bridge mode, there is significant degradation in speed. So I opted to use their modem/router as my primary router and use my current router simply for wifi and connected it via a Lan-to-Lan connection. All connections around the house working fine.

My issue is that I can no longer connect to HA remotely while I previously had no issues with my DuckDNS and Nginx setup. I’ve opened port 443 on my new ISP modem/router, restarted HA, etc. Also, there are no errors in the logs. I’m at a loss.

Appreciate any thoughts on how I can get my remote access working again. Thank you.

Note: I can connect locally with a HTTP://192.168.1.XX:8123 address.

I figured it out. Thought I’d update this thread in case it helps anyone.

I changed my setup from LAN to LAN connection and just made my secondary router an access point. Once I did that, the lights turned on remotely again.
