Hello,
I bought a secondhand supermicro server to run Home Assistant on. I installed the latest version and version 13.2. HAOS seems to boot but gets stuck after recognizing usb devices. I tried other sdd and hdd but without success. Also tried to start up without the USB devices (see image).
Any idea what i’m doing wrong ?
This is just a shot in the dark, in the bios if there is a reset to default option. It is looking for a raid array, I don’t think that is the problem, though. I do think that settings were changed in the bios for it’s previous configuration.
It’s reporting 18 usb ports? A 4, 6, and 8 port hub? Is that what you are connecting? You may want to look to see if there is an update for the bios.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply. I reset to default settings, by doing this it removes the boot order that I need to set manual (if I don’t it skips everything and starts to connect via network (via Intel Boot Agent). To make it enter to boot HAOS, i add a new boot option (\EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI). From the BIOS i make it boot this path. When I boot, it does the same thing.
I have no USB hubs connected and I have the this motherboard: X10DRU-i+ | Motherboards | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.
I don’t know why it is reporting the USB ports, I don’t think there are that much USB ports on the motherboard.
I have a raid controller installed: AOC-S3008L-L8e / AOC-S3008L-L8e+ | Add-on Cards | Accessories | Products - Super Micro Computer, Inc.
