Since last or previous version, with the “updating sensor” in top bar… When I open the app, it first updates the sensor, I see that icon… sometimes it takes a sec or two… And seems the app is waiting for that… When sensors are updated , then the app opens, so there is always a delay now…
Is that an issue or something we have to live with?
I don’t see this behaviour. Did you try if disabling the notifications from the sensor still leads to the delay?
nt tried yet, but its only when the app is fore closed, if not its running fine
i now had the app open, i went to the “sensors” page, even that page just freezed scrolling when it was updating … seems when i am on that page, every 15 sec its updating its sensors, and its always freezing on that page when updating

Seems the geolocation sensor is the culprit, when I enable that one, when it’s updating it’s sensors, it always freezes… I see the state of the geolocation = unknown, while sometimes my address is there
Indeed , it’s the geolocation sensor, when I now foreclose, if I now open the app, it doesn’t freeze anymore and I see it’s updating it’s sensors at the same time
Never heard of the geolocation sensor causing issues like this, what device is this? Kinda goes to show you how wildly different phones can be when made my different manufacturers. Personally I have a pixel 4 xl with every sensor enabled and I don’t see any lag.
I have a oneplus 7t
I have enabled it again as test , now it works, but now the state is now filled in with the street name and address… I think it only occurs when state is unknown…
I leave it enabled now , and will test further untill I notice lag again
