I added a 3rd gen 4K appe tv with TVOS 16 to HA and while the first time around it gave some errors, after rebooting the HA server and the apple tv i was able to add the integration successfully.
Now I want the apple tv to trigger an automation based on its state. I can see that the apple tv goes into standby when i turn it off and idle when back on. The Apple TV is connected to a Denon AVR which is in turn hooked to an epson projector.
Now the thing is that when the Denon av receiver is off and when I turn on the apple tv, the led on the apple tv comes on and presumably the apple tv is on but the state reflected in HA remains as standby! Only after I manually turn on the avr does the state change to idle! Obviously due to this no automation is triggered. Anyone else experienced this issue? Any pointers to solving this.
