Issue with Frient devices and Sonoff 3.0 Coordinator (ZHA)

Today I migrated my ConbeeII over to a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 Dongle Plus-P

Before I migrated it, I flashed the firmware with Koen Kanters’ latest coordinator firmware:
CC1352P2_CC2652P_launchpad_coordinator_20221226

It migrated without any errors and all I had to do was re-pair all my zigbee devices starting with wired devices from closest to the controller to the furthest and then all the battery devices.

Everything reconnected without issue except for my Frient Smart Plugs (inc power monitoring) and Electricity Meter Interface.

These worked perfectly before with the ConbeeII, but no such luck with the Sonoff dongle.

Has anyone else oot there had the same issue?

Got it sussed with a hint from EverythingSmartHome’s Lewis

The pairing button on the device(s) will flash then ready to pair, but you have to ignore the single and double pulse and keep holding it (20s or so) until it flashes like mad.
Then it pairs.

No idea why they chose to do it that way, but it worked :slight_smile:

Hi, a bit new to this. I have the same setup, what tool this you use to flash the sonoff?

This post wasn’t about flashing the Sonoff Coordinator, it was about pairing a Frient plug to ZHA
