hello. i’ve been getting some weird unexpected state changes of the zigbee fingerbot that I am using with ZHA. The adaprox fingerbot is recognized as a switch by ZHA, which is fine by me as I use it to control my old VRV AC system’s wall remotes with it and when the AC is on, the switch is ON combo works for me.
However, I have noticed that if an automation sends the turn on command to the fingerbot when it’s in ON state in HA, the fingerbot activates and presses the button again, changing the state of my AC to OFF however in HA the state of the fingerbot remains in ON state. I can replicate this issue easily by assigning a TURN ON command to one of my IKEA remotes and pushing it always makes the fingerbot physically press but no log entry gets added to the device logs and device stays in the same condition.
Is this HA or ZHA related, because I don’t think that ZHA should send any message to a switch when the expected state and current state are the same. Thanks.
