Issues with Automations - UI Buttons not doing anything

Anyone else seeing issues with the automation configuration options becoming unresponsive? I’ve noticed this only recently with both automations and when trying to use a blueprint.

The issue presents itself as follows…

  1. Create a new automation (or use a blueprint)

  2. Lets me start to configure actions

  3. Suddenly the "Add Action" button stops working. If you press it nothing happens

I’ve tried refreshing my browser, deleted cache, and restarted HA but still seeing the issue. I can’t see a particular thing that starts the issue. Its just I’ll go to click the “Add Action” button, often after successfully adding a prior action and suddenly, no response. The rest of the interface works just fine - I can back out, go to another part of HA, etc. Weird!

If you go to Settings/System/Logs

Does it show anything around the time you run into this?

Any errors in the browser’s developer console?

Which type of logs? Core, Supervisor? I’m not sure where UI issues in the automations screen would get logged!

Also, I just went back into it now and tried using a blueprint and of course, it worked just fine. This is the annoying thing, it seems to be random and intermittant!

Hi there, same problem here.
Zero errors both in the logs and the browser’s developer console.

I’m on Firefox 148.0 (aarch64).

Sometimes also the “back” button take some time to get me back.

Refreshing the page make all work again for one or two times, then blocked again.

I’ve had the same thing, too.

then you have to try to save the other changes, but usually can’t, so you exit the automation and start again!

The same thing is happening to me as well. I don’t know since when exactly since it’s been a while since I tried creating an automation, but none of the UI buttons in the “create automation” page do anything. I also have nothing relevant in my HASS logs.
