I’m on my 2nd Enbrighten switch, so my guess is it’s not the switch. Running latest HAOS, The problem is, after inclusion via JS UI, it worked on both the paddle and HA to turn on and change speed Low Medium High. After a few minutes testing it, it only turns on to HIGH, when I change it either on the paddle or via HA to Medium and Low it reflects the speed but the fan stays on high and i can only turn it off or on. Thoughts?
I have the exact same issue, did you find a resolution?
I have also experienced this problem. Cycling the power does seem to fix it (albeit temporarily until it happens again). You can cut power by just using the air gap switch (i.e. use your fingernail to pull out the tab underneath the paddle).
I suspect something is screwy with the way HA is issuing the ZWave control, but I’m not fluent enough in that code to know for sure. Also, see this pull request to fix the number of speeds, which may or may not fix it.
Didn’t fix it
I have the same issue and ordered the 500 Series. I hope that this will solve it.
I spoke to Jasco support and I was some 45 minutes on the phone with them. While friendly, they continuously implied that something is wrong with the fan, or with my setup, and nothing with their switch. I offered to send them a link to this page, showing that other users have the same issue, but they were not interested. Stubborn…
Tomorrow I will receive a new Zwave 500 series switch and I am pretty sure that it will work, but we will see.
Can you please let me/us know if the 500 series fixed it. I’m still having issues w/ the 700 Series. It goes to high speed and can’t change it, only way is to shut off and just wait a while.
