It appears you authorisation was revoked, please reconnect to home assistant

Been getting the “it appears you authorisation was revoked, please reconnect to home assistant” error every week since some update a couple months ago.

I used to have both my hass servers ( business and home ) work flawlessly with the app but I now get the deaded “it appears you authorisation was revoked, please reconnect to home assistant” on my home instance only. The office server never gives me any problem. Clearing cache or reinstalling app on my phone does not change anything.

The only way I can have it back working is by deleting the multiple instances created of my mobile on my home hass mobile app integration page. The mobile app in the device page also reports an error when it happens. Login in from browser never fails. Its clearly a hass server bug that relates to app logins exclusively.

Any idea ? Im about to go crazy here.

I tried reinstalling app and reset phone. Nothing I do on my phone will resolve the problem. Only way is to flush the multiple devices created in the mobile app and resetting hass because the deletion never works right away.

Also tried changing device names and using another user.

there should only be 1 entry per server, your issue may be too many entries on each server causing a conflict. Follow the start fresh steps without skipping a step https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/troubleshooting/faqs/#starting-fresh-with-the-android-app

there is a larger underlying issue if you are unable to delete the devices properly. Some config file must be corrupted.

Exactly the same issue here…been tearing my hair out. Multiple entries get created only once it fails and you try setting it up again. I also use Remote Home-Assistant , ( a custom integration ) to use 2 instances ( house and RV ) on same network. We might have similar set ups and I was already wondering if it’s caused by the Remote app but only have had it up and running for maybe 2 weeks.

Update: It is in fact caused by the multiple server instances for sure. I have managed to delete all duplicates of my user in the mobile app intégration and its been running fine with my home server only. I will try and reconnect my office srvr in the app and see if it fails again. For some reasons, when both my server are set in the app, its always the home instance that revokes and starts acting up. The office never revokes. I am paying for a cloud account, I wonder if this is the problem. Maybe it can only allow one server instance ? Back toyou bacon !

So I have cleared out those multiple users too but it always allows a few sign ins and then does the same revocation.

I also tried NOT signing in the RV but home still revoked AND even the RV will revoked. Do you use the remote app from HACS too ?

I also subscribe to Nabu Casa .

Sometimes on initial onboarding of mobile app I get the Nabu Casa URL , sometimes the local URL of my home and sometimes the local URL of the RV.

With the Nabu Casa URL it a toss up to if it connects too home or RV. Beats me. Ill have to disable remote and see if it’s still an issue.

Still good ? I gave up, but despite not doing anything new it might have resolved on its own ? Unless they fixed and I missed it or they fix without any mention ??
