This might be a newbie question. HA is reporting that my Jasco ZW3005/14321 dimmers have new firmware version 5.29 (which seems to be correct based on the github release.) However, it is also reporting the the currently installed version is 5.8. This is what confuses me. What is “installed version”?
Installed version is the version installed on your device. You can update from 5.8 to 5.29.
8 is less than 29, if that’s what you’re confused about. I’ts not 5.80, it’s 5.8

Same as what we would think of as 5.08. So 5.29 is newer.
