I am trying to set up a notification for new media added. I have tried webhooks from both *arrs and jellyfin but both will notify when media is upgraded or redownloaded which is not what I would like.
This is understandable for the *arr “grab” hooks as they are indeed grabbing again. I was hoping the jellyfin “new media added” hook would only fire when new media is added but it seems to fire on subsequent downloads of media that already exists in the library.
Is there a way to achieve this? Maybe I have just configured the webhooks incorrectly?
