Josh.ai voice controller

Hi,

I just came across josh.ai, a microphone device to control it’s home devices and I wondered if someone has tried to integrate it with HA, but I found nothing on the community forum. I don’t have the device but it could be nice for a future release maybe?

Cheers,

Not much to integrate with when it isn’t open source or available to download.
All hardware seems to be purchased through the manufacturer.

Just means that someone needs to buy the devices set and try to integrate it with HA (as I don’t see even a mention of an API)

I also cam across this surfing around the internet. This would be something rally grate if Home Assistant could do. I 'm currently doing similar task with Alexa integration and Home assistant, but I really like the local control and sleek almost hidden look that Josh AI offers the draw back of course is the hefty price tag. I’ve seen something around $14K for the Core and then addition for each sleek in wall microphone. Would anyone in the community have any ideas on a sleek fast local control voice assistant?

Ok, so reviving this dialog.

I’m a Josh.ai owner and absolute love their hardware + software. I have grievances with their gaps in integrations.

They did just announce their “Nimble DevSuite” integration for 3rd party integration with an aim at open source?

Curious if this is an opportunity for HomeAssistant integration. Per one of their replies to me, it sounds like yes?
