JPGs in dashboard do not show up in Cloud Access

Hi!

I am working on water- and powermetering using “AI om the edge”. In this early stage I find it nice to have the “live” image of my meters displayed in one of my dashboards to easily check on function. So that works well an when I am home I can see the
“http:///img_tmp/alg_roi.jpg” image entity provided by AI on the edge.

However when I am outside and use the Nabu Casa Cloud to access my dashboards the same image entities end up showing nothing. So:

“at home”: image entity in dashboard works
“through Nabu Casa Cloud”: image entity comes up empty

How can I change that behaviour?

Can you move the image to config/www/ or a sub-folder in that www folder?

That location can be reached externally.

Note that you have to restart Home Assistant after creating the www folder.

And in your dashboard you can access config/www/img_tmp/alg_roi.jpg at /local/img_tmp/alg_roi.jpg
