Just noticed that there's a cool DWD service (RADOLAN) for past (hourly and daily) rain amount in Germany

Haven’t had the time to take a closer look or even integrate it in HA,
but I thought others might also find that interesting.

They use their real weather stations and the measured amount of rain, to “calibrate” the rain amount seen on satellite and interpolate it.
That way you get quite good results for hourly or daily amounts (with a processing and releasing delay of 30 mins) with a resolution of 1km * 1km.

That seems to be a way better solution than other services I’ve seen so far.
