I downloaded haos_ova-12.3.ova and imported it into vmware.
The machine is working properly,
Open with homeassistant.local:8123. Just stop at “This may take up to 20 minutes.”
It’s been over five hours. I wonder why?

Did you try to open a new tab ?
First move is refresh the browser, or as suggested open new tab.
Its surprising what ctl+f5 will solve.
reopen the web page, change the browser (firefox,chrome, or edge), and restart the server.
They’re all just sitting here
