I was just thinking about how a motion activated urinal doesn’t go off until you get pretty close to it. So I am wondering if they have special motion sensors that can’t sense too far out, or if there is a way to limit a motion sensor from looking too far out.
One use case for this for me would be to keep my kitchen light from coming on when I stand up in the living room. Right now the best place to always make sure the motion sensor fires when someone is in the kitchen also happens to just barely catch someone getting up from the couch…
If anyone knows anything about this subject I’d love to hear about it!
