Just want to say hi

Hi!
I am quite new and don’t want to just come in this community and ask millions of silly beginner questions without saying “hi” before.
I am not that familiar with Linux…and Home Assistant, so I have to read a lot in the next days :slight_smile:

welcome! I recommend you start with the documentation most definitely. videos can be helpful as well but also make sure to check the forums and github for examples. also dont be afraid to do some trial and error, you should get comfortable with being able to spot errors in the log and correcting them.

Instead of creating a new topic like that, I figured it’s better to replay in this one :slight_smile:

I started using Home Assistant couple of days ago and I just wanted to say “hi” to the community :slight_smile:

I switched from Vera and I have to say, it feels sooo refreshing!
It looks much better, works much faster and the flexibility cannot be even compared!

I wish I had done this sooner!
