I am new to this, and I am humbly seeking some advises. I am a bit lost.
I am on raspberry pi 3 ( I basically followed everything in the video). I just bought a Kaipule door sensor for test purpose before going further. ( it s the cheapest door sensor on Amazon in France at the moment).
I was wondering if there were a tutorial to bind new devices, it is not clear to me yet. The detectors is recognized, the notice describe the bite type received, but I do not know what to do with it.
Here is what it receive in the OZW_log.txt on ‘door closing’. The notice state that it should read somewhere ‘0x16’ on door closing while I can only find ‘0x17’ which is for opening, normally.
It states:
Recovered “Value=0x00, Type=0x0A Notification Report, Notification Type=0x06, Event=0x16”.
Opened= “Value=0xFF, Type=0x0A Notification Report, Notification Type=0x06, Event=0x17”.
Generic device type:
GENERIC_TYPE_SENSOR_NOTIFICATION

SPECIFIC_TYPE_NOTIFICATION_SENSOR
May I have some advice where I should look for to be able to play a bit more with it, I feel like turning around.
