I would like to start eliminating “smart life” app and other cloud devices and wanted to know if there is any advantages of doing TP-Link (yaml / ip connection via HA) or seeing I have Aeotec Z-Stick which I believe doesn’t connect to the cloud would it be better to grab some z-wave plugs? Need only 1-2 plugs for now and they aren’t that expensive so I guess I could try one of each. Just thinking “if” the Aeotec Z-stick is 100% independent of the cloud (local only) then maybe it would be best to go this way in order to free up my wifi network. Looking for some feedback.
