Kickstarter - USB Switchy

Hello,

Hopefully this post is allowed on this forum.

I have recently launched a Kickstarter - and you are part of my target audience (congrats!).

The URL is http://kck.st/30xrP8q.

The gadget is a USB Switch controlled over WiFi. I know some exist already, but this one is open source of out of the box (no re-flashing) and ‘maker friendly’ in as far as it is designed so it can be used with Arduinos etc.

It uses Tasmota as the built in software stack, but that can be changed to custom firmware if you want.

I have had a lot of good feedback on a few Discord channels, people asking for different sensors, or using LoRA etc.

If this goes well then I hope to start a range of ‘switchy things’ along those lines.

My aim isn’t to become a millionaire flogging some product. My target price for the end product is a max of ~£10/$15 a unit - but hopefully less, but that is down to demand.

If anyone has any feedback it would be much appreciated, and it would be great if you would check out the kickstarter page and consider backing the project.

Many thanks!
