Hi, after upgrading my setup to the latest released home assistant revisions, my code for this board no longer works.
Narrowed it down to board type… before when it was working I used esp32dev as the type… now with that type it does not run, takes download and then appears to be unresponsive.
Telling home assistant to prepare device for first use, it picks esp32-c3-devkitm-1… and the code will run and load and act normal, but I can’t access all the pins I need using this device type.
I am unsure. how to proceed and need some advice. Asked question on kin cony forum as well.
Thank you. I ended up sorting it out finally. I had another device behind my monitor (that I forgot about), and either my or the serial port driver messed up, and I was doing some things on one device (brand z), and one thing on another device, the a4s. Other device was same serial chip, different esp32 variant. Think I confused esp home by having same devices crossed up in weird ways with the device object in home assistant. (oops)
