I’m having an issue where I can’t access the UI from my kindle fire. I’m running hassio on a raspberry pi which is plugged directly into my router. I can access the UI from my computer and smart phone using hassio.local:8123 but I get a dns error on the kindle fire. I’ve tried multiple browsers and nothings seems to work. My theory is that the kindle is automatically putting http in from the of the address hassio.local:8123. Has anyone had this issue or know how I can get around it?
I’d start by verifying they are on the same wifi network; not unbridged 2.5G/5G or something similarly silly that some routers do. I’d also try the IP directly rather than relying on dns.
I’m having a similar problem with mine showing a blue band at the top of the page and that’s it.
I’ve tried two different Fire HD8 tablets using https://lan-ip:8123 and https://hassio-dns-name.org:8123 and the results are the same.
Silk is not on Polymer’s supported browsers list.
