Kiosk_show_camera command not working

I have an old iPad running in Kiosk mode.

I tried to create an automation which would show the Ring doorbell camera when it is pressed in full screen. The kiosk_show_camera command is perfect for this.

This works perfectly fine on my iPhone with the latest iOS and HA Companion app.

When I try the same command using an older iPad running iOS 15.8.8 and the Companion App version 2026.7.5 it does not work.

I can see the notification is received (in the notification logs) but nothing happens (so no error just nothing).

If I am correct this specific command should work from version 2026.7.X.

Am I missing something here?

The minimum iOS version for Companion App is 16.4+. Maybe that is the reason.

For the latest version of the companion app, that is indeed correct.

The latest working version for iOS 15.8.8 is 2026.7.5, that is why I specifically ask if it should work for version 2026.7.5.

The post is inconsistent. At the beginning it says starting in 2026.8.0, but after that, it is mentioned several times that the latest compatible version is 2026.7.1.

Do you think that the latest working version for iOS 15.8.8 is 2026.7.5 based on the first sentence or based on some other source?

There was no 2026.7.5 for iOS in the release page - releases went from 2026.7.1 > 2026.7.3 > 2026.8.0.
