Knock sensor with Aqara Smart Motion Sensor

Hello,

do somebody of you already own an “Aqara Smart Motion Sensor” ?

Im thinking about creating something like “Knocki” with the xiaomi sensor.

Do you think it would be possible to mount the sensor under a table and the xiaomi sensor capture the knocks on the table? So if the sensor capture two knocks in one second turn on the lights or something simular.

It would be nice if somebody can test my idea.

Did you end up integrating Knocki? Totally forgot I backed them on Kickstarter in 2015. My unit finally arrived last year and it’s been sitting on my shelf since then…

What does your integration look like?

I didn’t own knocki.

I thought about building something similar with the “Aqara Vibration Sensor”, but it wasn’t possible.
