Hi. I have a switch that is available in HomeKit. When it is turned on, it sends a push notification with 3 options to my mobile device.
I would like to know if it is possible to detect which mobile device changed the state. If my son changes the state in its iPad, the notifications appear in my mobile device. In this case, these notifications should be sent to the iPad, to allow him to choose.
I’m not sure if I can detect the source device when the state is changed in HomeKit.
I know you never got a response to this, but for closer you can’t see the device.
Right now you only get an event in the event bus called homekit_state_change which doesn’t have any device information beyond the entity that was controlled.
