KNX: scan_interval not integrated - integration spams the bus

Dear Community,

I have about 48 heating circles, 150 lamps, 35 motion sensors, and many KNX integrated smoke detectors in my house.

Things work well - but the KNX integration in Home Assistant does nto allow scan_interval to be set. That means that slower actors e.g. heating still pulls updates so often, that it cloggs the bus.

Since scan_interval is not an option for KNX - does anyone have any other solutions to limit update frequency?

scan_interval is meant for (older) pull services. KNX is a push integration - scan_interval doesn’t apply here.

Not sure what exactly you mean by this. The knx integration does initialize its values - but it’s unlikely that this “cloggs the bus” since it does this quite carefully. Would you have some group monitor screenshot or something to better show the issue?
