Konnected Siren Wiring - European siren with SCB/TDAB

Hi!

Just bought a Konnected Pro alarm. Impressed so far. I think the problems I’ve had are WiFi related and also some faulty sensors here. Otherwise all OK!

Anyway I’ve done all the sensors for now, got to connect the Siren.

I get the impression (from Googling) that Euro commercial sirens are different to US sirens. Mine has Strobe & TDAB (SCB) contacts.

Anyone know how I’d connect this to Konnected?!

My THINKING is…

T - don’t need to bother with, it’s tamper and Konnected ‘Pro’ doesn’t offer any tamper connections!
A - Ground
D - +12v
B - this is the one I’m unsure of - I think it’s the trigger to make the siren sound - I guess it’s either normally 0v or normally 12v and I don’t know which. Or if I’ve understood correctly.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

b is connected to 0v, removing the connection should trigger the bell. Also known as bell hold off

Thank you - Konnected support got back to me and provisionally advised (based on their inferences)

Strobe goes to Alarm -
T goes to 12V+
A goes to Aux -
D goes to 12V+
B goes to Alarm -

I’m not sure about them saying T goes to 12v+ as quite clearly the above diagram shows it going to
- Ve.

I’m still unsure if Aux - is the same as one of the GND connections and I’m not at all sure how I’d remove the connection programmatically?

Thank you!

Hi, did you manage to connect your siren to the Konnected board? I have the same SCB TADB siren and I can’t seem to make it work.

I’ve already tried what you suggested with no luck.

Thanks
