Kostal Plenticore integration migration

Hi,

in the past there was a custom Kostal Plenticore (PV inverter) integration (via HACS), that became now deprecated when an “official” standard integration was introduced lately.
What are my best options of switching to the now official integration w/o loosing all of the historic data stored in my InfluxDB? There are basically the same sensors available, but they all have a different ID obviously. Is there a way to alias them, so that they will be used in automations and dashboards and stored in the DB like before? Or is there kind of a “refactoring” helper that would replace one sensor with a different one everywhere in HA? Can I at least rename InfluxDB fields to be continued to be used with the new sensors, retaining existing history?
Or will it be just a tedious and painful task switching everything manually, and losing existing data so far?

Hi,
i would try changeing the entity id of the new sensor to the name of the old one.
Maybe that will work.

Thanks, Lukas. By now I just took the hard path and reworked everything from scratch using the new Kostal sensors, and just live with missing the history until end of June.
