I’m currently running Home assistant OS on a single pi
In the process of setting up my kubernetes cluster i get the idea that most things can be restored from a snapshot but wondering does haaska need to be installed from scratch
Thanks Arden

I was thinking of moving HA into a k3s cluster, but HA does not scale so there’s no benefit.
Technically, HA needs a fully populated config directory and is ready to go. Snapshots (which to my understanding are only supported by supervised installations) would take additionally startup time.
What do you expect to improve when using Kubernetes for HA?
I’m just playing Kubernetes and hopefully gain some redundancy
Will running HA in k8 be less likely to be down than on a single node? Seems like there’s a lot more “moving” parts which increases the probability something fails.
That depends on how you engineer it
So you gonna glue it to one node?
