Kwikset 916 Zwave - what's your typical battery life?

If you have a Kwikset 916 Zwave on HA/ZWaveJS, I’m curious about your real-world battery life. I’m lucky to get 6 weeks, usually more like 4. I have 5-10 motorized operations per day, and another ~20 manual ones. Lock is handed correctly, no binding on the door or jamb; it freely turns manually.

Something seems off, and watching the Z-wave JS logs hasn’t turned up anything suspicious.

Alkalines 2 months tops depending on the number of times the door is locked. For whatever reason it is also a z-wave router, so it never sleeps.

The last time I changed them in November, still going, were the expensive AA lithium cells that were like a buck or 2 apiece. Still going. (Not rechargeable, but lithium alkalines or something.
