Is there a way to get detailed information about how a door lock was unlocked through the logbook/history?
I can see where it ‘unlocked’ but not how.

The most info you’ll be able to get is like this:
Actions aren’t logged in home assistant unless you set the logger to log tons of info which will grow your log super fast.
sensor.front_door_alarm_type reports how the lock was triggered (manual, keypad, RF, etc) You may need to create a template to get what you want or send the data to influx and grafana
Thanks,
This is what I thought just wanted to make sure. It’s too late at this point, maybe i’ll setup more detailed logging if it happens again.I changed the batteries though, so we’ll see what happens.
If it hasn’t rolled out of your history, you can look at the logbook and if there was an automation, it should show up there.
Recommend an automation that auto locks your door for you.
I don’t want it to unlocking the first place. Also the door doesn’t sit 100% correctly so it would probably jam if it tried to lock after unlocking.
I went back into the logbook again and double checked, for some reason one of my scripts got run (Let dogs out) which unlocks the door. Nto sure what caused it to be called though.
Obviously, the dog(s) have hacked your mobile device and is letting themselves out
