Does anyone else use LastPass to log into Home Assistant? I have DuckDNS and LetsEncrypt setup. I then setup a 20 character password with all sorts of symbols, letters, etc. Problem is, LastPass does not recognize the password field on the front end login page. The address is correct and I have even tried to save fields in LastPass vs username/password, but it still does not recognize the password field to auto fill it.
Anyone experience anything similar?
I use LP but was using the autofill from my hass login currently. I’ll give it a try next time I need to log in again.
LastPass here too. No issues. One thing i have noticed is that I typically get the icon for LP in user/pass fields immediately on other sites. On HA I have to click in the password field before the LP icon will become available.
Just tested. I get the same thing myself. Just click once in the box and then the icon shows up.
Weird. Its the only site that doesnt work for me. Will look again for some exceptions or something crazy.
I tried deleting everything *.duckdns.org from LastPass, restarting Chrome and starting over. Even if I manually save the site with the password in the password field, I do get the indication that there is a saved site at the domain, but manually clicking autofill does nothing. Saving field shows no fields still. Maybe Ill ask Last Pass.
What version of the LP browser plugin are you using? I’m on version 4.1.44. You could still be on the 3.x build?

OK that should be fine. Doing anything special on hosting the hass web UI? Reverse proxy or anything? I’m just running standard https://hass.mydomain.com:8123.
I’m also using LastPass never had any issues. Using Safari and Chrome.
Still no luck here on multiple computers and Chrome. I went through and re-deleted every account with *.duckdns.org in the address, cleared the local cache, and refreshed sites. Then I closed Chrome and restarted. I went to my HASS page, signed in, no password prompt. Manually added the site with the password field populated and address as my HASS page. Closed Chrome, went back in to Chrome and my HASS site, still no luck. Password field does not show up and manually doing auto fill does nothing.
Whats weird is that it works on my phone but not 3 different computers with Chrome.
I get this problem too. I was getting the issue on chrome (latest version as of Oct 2018), I decided to move to firefox. It worked all week, but now mysteriously refuses to autofil the username/password. Nothing changed on my system either (at least in terms of home assistant , lastpass and firfox.
I’m guessing the name of the username and password boxes changed so LP doesn’t recognize them. I entered my correct username and password manually and selected from the Last Pass menu, Sites -> Save All Entered Data. That worked to auto-fill for me going forward.
Just tried to use LastPass with .89.1 and it did not work.
I did try the sites->Save All Entered Data and that did not work.
Anyone with LastPass with .89.1 working?
My experience has been very hit and miss. Even on the same version, Chrome on my computers vs Chrome on Android seems to work differently with LastPass and Home Assistant. Not really sure what the difference is since 99% of every other site works as expected.
