LB60Z1 Zwave Bulb - Brightness and Automation

I have one of these bulbs - I’m using a couple of scenes to set ‘movie’ time when Kodi is playing/stopped. The playing one works fine - goes to 25% - but when I stop Kodi - it turns up the bulb some but not to 100% - any idea anyone? I checked the ozwcp for the bulb - set to come back on at full brightness (but I don’t turn the bulb off - I go from 25% to 100%). Can’t quite figure this one out after messing with it for a while.

scene:

  • name: Kodi_Playing
    entities:
    light.linear_lb60z1_dimmable_led_light_bulb_level_3_0:
    state: on
    brightness: 25
    switch.ge_unknown_type5052_id3031_switch_2_0: off

  • name: Kodi_Stopped
    entities:
    light.linear_lb60z1_dimmable_led_light_bulb_level_3_0:
    state: on
    brightness: 100
    switch.ge_unknown_type5052_id3031_switch_2_0: on

Ok - feeling dumb,. 100 is not max - 255 is. Per Office Barbrady on South Park - move along people - nothing to see here…lol - thanks!

I have this same bulb and not able to connect it to my zstick. I followed the procedure in the instructions but it never connects and flashes showing connectivity. Any help would be appreciated.

@mobius - saw your post, but I don’t have much input on this one. Mine worked with no issue right out of the box - the only thing I can think of is to make sure you put the zwave stick in pair (include) mode - you can do this from HASS under the dev menu or ozcwp if you like. Pair and off you go - mine was pretty much straight forward.

thanks for the info. i think i solved it. i found the reset unit procedure and after performing that twice it is now connected to my zstick.
