Picked a few of these up and started playing around trying to get them connected to HA. I noticed I have one in the same room as a one of my proxies and it will show as discovered but when I try to configure it fails. I even tried placing it right next to the proxy to see of it would pair and no luck.
I have the same issues, I suspect it might need a firmware update.
I ended up trying the related app, which allowed me to flash the card, which fixed the issue.
How far have you ben able to place the unit from the BT proxy?
And how fast are they to update in HA?
